Do You Need Start-Up Funding For Your Business: Meet Kimber Raell

Starting a business is hard work and it seems even harder to find funding for small business owners. Banks are saying "NO" more and more these days and let's just admit it not all of us have "rich Dads". Mocha Mogul Kimber Raell owner of Ms. CEO Society may have the answer to all your business financial needs! I caught up with Ms. Kimber to get the scoop on her brand and the assistance she offers to female business owners!

1. Tell the GLU audience a bit about your business/ brand or project!

My name is Kimber Raell, I'm a finance concierge and the owner of The Ms.CEO Society. TMCEOS is a boutique commercial lending firm that not only provides financing to small businesses owners, but support to female entrepreneurs as well.

2. What motivated you to start your business?

I owned my own beauty business for 10 years, so coming from a small business background I noticed a need in the market to provide funding assistance to those businesses owners who weren't quite ready for big box banks but also needed a little more than a "mom and pop micro loan". I'm a millennial, and most small businesses in my democratic lack the structure for sustainable businesses, if I can provide resources to help them reach their business goals all while teaming up with other girl gangs, that's a win/win.

3. What makes your business different from others like it?

Being able to meet the needs of business owners who wouldn't necessarily be a prime candidate for traditional financing is what sets us apart, but being able to come to your banker completely unsheathed and discuss your funding goals from "Concept to Close" is what will keep us apart from other lending institutions. I love the fact that I have a small business background, I strongly believe it's what keeps me connected to my clients because I know what they are going through and what it will take to get them to the next level; Let's be honest, half of the time that's money, the other half its support either way we've got you covered.

4. What are some challenge you face being a girl boss?

It's always a challenge for me to make sure the others areas of my life that don't contain business are attended to. Due to the cycle of business I'm in I really feel I lack balance. It's a daily struggle... but I'm working on it.

5. What tips would you give to other girl bosses trying to build a brand?

This biggest tip I have for other female entrepreneurs is to discipline your emotions. Learn not to give in to every "failure" and start measuring wins and losses. The sooner you take your feelings out of business, the sooner you become in touch with the consumers point of view. When you feel them, they feel you, you feel sales.

 6. Tell us what you have coming up and how we can keep up with you on social media.

I have two projects that I'm really really excited by. The MS.CEO Academy which is an educational element to my company that allows  students to gain accredited knowledge in a wide range of fields of study. Secondly, the DreamHer Fest, taking place on September 30,2017 is an interactive festival specifically designed for female entrepreneurs power packed with tools, knowledge, classes and empowerment designed to grow your business to the next level. If you are interested in reaching me or attending any one of my upcoming projects you can reach me on social media @iammsceo or @themsceosociety by email kimberraell@msceosociety.com or by phone 1(844) 64MSCEO.

Ladies lets support our fellow girl boss! If you are a business owner with a dope brand contact us because we'd love to interview you.
